On Saturday 15th February, AIKB welcomed three members of the association Mauves So British, an association based in Mauves sur Loire in the Loire Atlantique department. Mauves So British is an association made of French people who are all very keen on British culture and who are looking for British people living in Brittany. Sylvie, the association's treasurer, contacted AIKB and explained her wish to organize together a long weekend which would allow French members to immerse into Shakespeare's world and language for a few days.
Saturday's meeting was not only to present AIKB and the commune of Gouarec but also to discuss a programme for the long French-British weekend which will take place in Gouarec during the Ascension weekend at the end of May, where about 20 French Mauves members are expected. Very good ideas came out of this meeting along with a nice friendship.
