Message from Dale FRITH regarding the Gardening Social Group, now that the last garden visit has taken place for this year:
Thank you to all those who hosted a visit to their gardens. It is through visiting other gardens that we can often obtain inspiration and knowledge for our own garden development. Plus there is also the enjoyable social element too, with a cuppa! So I am looking for hosts for the Gardening Social Group in 2025!
- You might have hosted a garden visit but would like to hold another one
- You feel that you can now open your garden to members
- You may know a non-member who would like to host a garden visit
The gardens can be quite varied: woodland gardens, gravel gardens, vegetable gardens, English Cottage gardens, courtyard gardens to vast acres of grass, trees and shrubs, developing gardens, wildlife gardens.
Friday was the day chosen this year for visits, though this can change to Thursday if preferred (please let Dale know).
The monthly garden visits in 2025 will take place between April and October, precise dates to be confirmed.
In the meanwhile, it was great to see so many of you sharing your joy of gardening. We hope you all have a warm and dry winter and hopefully we will meet again in the New Year.
If you feel like a cuppa and biscuit during the winter months, the Drop-In Social Group meets once a fortnight on Thursdays in Gouarec (Salle Polyvalente), the next meeting is this coming Thursday.
