Katherine Henderson of “Funky Felt” fame, lead a very enjoyable and interesting Worksop on 2D Needle Felting for the Art & Textiles group on Saturday 22nd February. She taught us the techniques of 2D felting using blended layers of beautiful dyed wool and extremely sharp needles. With the minimum number of punctured fingers we started our individual pieces, layering small amounts of carded wool, which we will complete at home.
