The first Reading Group session took place yesterday morning at the AIKB Library.

Six bibliophiles (7 with Annie) attended this meeting, which flowed very easily when they all realized early on that they were all book addicts and as such, had surrounded themselves with the written word since childhood. Annie Drury, the organizer, started the proceedings giving a synopsis of a book that impacted on her in her early twenties: "The Green Dolphin Country" by Elizabeth Goudge, first published in 1944 and later made into a film called "The Green Dolphin Street". It led onto some discussion of the story-line, characters and Goudge's writing style.

If you wish to discuss your favourite book with other AIKB Members, then please join the next Reading Group meeting which will be held on Tuesday 7th May at 10am at the AIKB Library, Gouarec.
