Janet has had a varied career path having served in the Royal Air Force along with stints as a dance and yoga teacher, a school librarian and various clerical posts. She took the momentous decision to go to University at the age of thirty-one to study for a B.Ed. in Dance and English. Later, she gained an M.Ed. She spent twenty-five years in primary education which included four years as a headteacher.
Janet relocated to Brittany in 2024 for a little adventure in retirement. She is trying to improve her French, enjoys ‘playing’ with art and textile projects, reading and writing crime novels (nothing published – yet) and keeping fit with pilates, yoga, swimming and walking.
