Update on yesterday's AIKB A PIED walk: a most enjoyable afternoon on the Landes du Liscuis in Laniscat. The conditions were perfect, dry sunny and a gentil breeze to keep us cool. There were 16 walkers and 3 dogs. The way up to Les Trois Allées Couvertes was under the canopy of the forest in contrast to the open moor at the tombs which were a stark reminder of those who lived 6000 years past. We spent some time looking at them before taking to the small hill side path with spectacular views down to Bon Repos and beyond. The walk was enjoyed by all though relief was evident at the car park!
