Our thanks go to Don for hosting a very enjoyable afternoon in his garden near Sainte Trephine yesterday. Luckily the weather was kind to us allowing a lovely walk around the ‘estate’!!
Don told us the story of the amazing oak tree which was hit by a tornado. It was split in half but has survived. It is thought to be 500 years old and Don is now hoping the other half will last another 500!
Several visitors also took the opportunity to harvest some beautiful Bramley apples ready to make some lovely crumbles đ
